Staff House

Christmas Greetings! We thank God for the many workers that have made such a huge difference this past year on our state property.

I have enclosed many pictures of the house - from the lot being cleared, footers dug/poured, to the laying of the blocks. We owe a great gratitude of appreciation to the many carpenters, plumbers, electricians, air/heat man, roofers, sheetrock hangers/finishers, and the vinyl siding crew. I trust you will enjoy the pictures and will become as inspired as I am with the progress of all the projects at the campground.

Wishig you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2008,

Bishop Adams

Curry Hall

We were so blessed by the Saint Mary's Youth they purchased the siding for Curry Hall. And we were especially blessed that the men from Saint Mary's Church came and spent two days working on covering Curry Hall with the vinyl siding. We are very thankful for the men who came and labored so diligently to see this project come along so quickly. Here are the names of the men who made this cabin look so new and refreshed; Randy Dockery, Earl Hulett, Henry Brown, John Smith, Adams Jones, Ralph Thornton, Lawrence Jackson, Riley Flowers, Keith Brown, Seth Adams, and Billy Adams.

Let me say we are very appreciative to the crew who labor at the campground almost daily and these are Lawrence Jackson, Keith Brown, and Riley Flowers. Of course we joking say that Keith and Riley work for food; however, that's not necessarily true some days they don't even accept food. We owe a great debt to these fellows for their desire to bless! We also thankful for the many men come during the year and work a day or two work on the camp ground ce, Riley, Keith are working on completing this project. We

Snack Shack Restrooms

We are thankful for the many men who have made this project to come to pass. I will share the details the best I know if I accidentally leave anyone out please forgive me and I'll make the necessary corrections. Lawrence Jackson, Riley Flowers, and Keith Brown formed the foundation and Todd Welcher furnished the plumbing supplies and stubbed the plumbing for the restrooms. Marty Lawson was able to get the blocks and the wood trusses donated for these restrooms. Lawrence Flowers delivered the blocks, trusses, and mortar to the campground. Larry West laid the blocks with the help of James Spence, Riley Flowers, Keith Brown and Lawrence Jackson.
The fellows are just about to finished this project. They are pouring concrete Monday (June 4) and the project will be completed. Thanks to Lawrence, Keith, and Riley for finishing this up.

Wilson Hall Renovation

Great things are happening! Several men gathered from across the state of Georgia to complete the Wilson Hall Cabin. I will list the men that I know help with this project, Larry Burch, Eddie Smith, Ralph Thornton, Riley Flowers, Keith Brown, and Lawrence Jackson. I have enclosed pictures so you can see the appearance of the cabin before and afterward. If you will notice we are replacing the old windows with white vinyl insulated windows. Just think what we can do when we set our minds to it. Nothing can be restrained from people who have a mind to work!
